TORONTO: The wing of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight collided with the wing of an Air France aircraft at Pearson International Airport while taxiing on Tuesday night.
The incident took place at 6 p.m. ET, according to Natalie Moncur, a spokeswoman for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
The Air France plane was parked at a gate at Terminal 3 as the PIA aircraft taxied towards a gate nearby, Moncur said.

LAHORE: A video has gone viral on social media in which Pakistan newbie film actress Nisha Malik, who committed suicide last week, can be seen enjoying light moments with her brother.
Nisha, whose debut film was slated to be released on Eid ul Azha, was found dead in mysterious circumstances at her Lahore’s residence on Saturday, police said.
According to her family, Nisha Malik committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan.

ISLAMABAD: The federal government Monday announced a three-day holiday on account of Eid ul Azha falling on September 13.
According to a notification issued on Monday, the interior ministry said that all public and private offices would remain closed from September 12 to 14 for the religious holiday and it means people will return to work on the third day of Eid on Thursday.

KARACHI: Former federal minister Nabil Ahmed Khan Gabol said that he was ready to provide security to Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain over threats to his life.
“I will assign someone from Lyari to safeguard Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain in my personal capacity if the government refuses to provide security,” Gabol told SAMAA TV.
He recalled that he had been warning the religious scholar of potential threats to his life from the MQM.
“We have to protect Mohajirs from Altaf Hussain,” he said.
